SMK Balung, Tawau, Sabah Educational Visit to PPKS/i-CATS.

KUCHING, April 17 – Recently, a group of students and teachers from SMK Balung, Tawau, Sabah flew all the way to Kuching to visit Pusat Pembangunan Kemahiran Sarawak (PPKS) and the International College of Advanced Technology Sarawak (i-CATS).


The group, comprising 4 teachers and 17 students, arrived in Kuching on Sunday and stayed in the PPKS Kuching campus for four days, from 14 until 17 April.


The objective of the visit was to introduce the students to the wide range of exciting study and career pathways at PPKS/i-CATS, and how they can acquire the relevant knowledge and skills to thrive in an ever competitive and vibrant global environment.


Among the activities were campus tours to various PPKS and i-CATS campuses in Kuching and career briefings. The visitors also had the opportunity to visit the Kuching Waterfront and Main Bazaar, Sarawak Cultural Park, Cats Museum, Orchid Park, Kek Lapis Outlets and various shopping malls.
