1. The Pusat Pembangunan Kemahiran Sarawak (PPKS, the “Promoter”) and the competition
1.1 PPKS is celebrating its 25 years anniversary this year (2019).
1.2 The title of the competition is PPKS Corporate Logo Competition.

The competition is open to;
2.1 PPKS students
2.2 PPKS staff
2.3 PPKS Members
Who are at least 16 years old (on the date they submit an entry to the competition). In addition, the following persons WILL NOT be eligible for the competition:
a. Anyone who is professionally connected with the competition or its administration; or
b. Members of the immediate families or households of the persons described in paragraph (a) above.

3. By entering the competition, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and that you are eligible to claim the prize. The Promoter may require you to provide proof that you are eligible the competition at any time.

4. The Promoter will not accept competition entries that are : completed by third parties or in bulk, have been altered, reconstructed, forged or tampered with; and/or incomplete.

5. Entries that are:
5.1 Made on behalf of another person;
5.2 Joint submissions by two or more persons; and/or
5.3 Made by or on behalf of a partnership or company or other body corporate; are not allowed and will be rejected by the Promoter.

6.1 LOGO DESIGN and entry form(signed) must be submitted via E-MAIL to competition@ppks.edu.my (Name, I.C No. and Contact Number) or by hand to the Promoter on or before closing date 15 July 2019.
6.2 The competition fee is RM50. Kindly be informed that all payment for this competition should be made to :
6.2.1 Pusat Pembangunan Kemahiran Sarawak (RHB Islamic Bank Berhad 2112 546 000 3041)
6.2.2 All proof of payment can be email to competition@ppks.edu.my or the bank deposit slip can be attached with the entry form (hand submission).
6.2.3 The entry competition is only confirmed upon payment made.
6.2.4 Once the entry fee has been paid, there are no refunds.
6.3 All design must be submitted in a vector Adobe Illustrator format and should be no larger than 10Mb. For submission by hand the design must be in printed in A3 size layout.
6.4 An entry form (refer to attachment) must be completed, signed by you and submitted alongside with each design entry.
Each entry form signed by you will contain an acknowledgement that your entry is :
6.4.1 Exclusively your own work and does not comprise or incorporate any copyright or other intellectual property rights owned by any other person;
6.4.2 Is not defamatory or immoral; and
6.4.3 Does not infringe any third party rights and/or agreements to which you are a party.
6.4.4 Every entrant will be given a participation certificate.
6.5 The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, alter and/or amend the competition at any stage if deemed necessary in its own opinion and entirely at its own discretion, of if any circumstances arise outside the Promoter’s control.

7.1 Design should include THREE (3) colours with detailed elaboration on the chosen colours.
7.2 The theme for the design must portray technical education and digital economy.
7.3 The entry must not be or include images, photographs, persons, trademarks, distinctive features, wording or other elements, for which the participant does not have the licence and for which he/she cannot provide a licence to use, publish, reproduce or print.

8.1 ONE (1) winner will be selected from all eligible entries received on or before the closing date on 15 July 2019 @11:59 PM
8.2 The competition entries will be judged by a panel at least FOUR (4) judges. The decision of the panel will be final.
8.3 By entering the competition, participants confirm that they have read and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions, and by the decisions of the Promoter, which are final in all matters relating to the competition. Any breach of these terms and conditions will result in the forfeiture of the prize.
8.4 All entries will be assessed by the Judging Panel on the following criteria:
8.4.1. Creativity
8.4.2. Aesthetic quality; and
8.4.3. Originality

9.1 Only ONE (1) winner will receive the prize Ringgit Malaysia One Thousand Only (RM1000.00).
9.2 The prize is non-transferable and may not be claimed by a third party on your behalf. The Promoter does not accept any responsibility if the winner is unable to collect the prize.

10.1 The Promoter will endeavour to notify the winner on 22 July 2019 by E-MAIL and PHONE CALL.
10.2 If the winner does not respond to our notification by 25th July 2019 (or such later date as the Promoter specifies for this purpose), the Promoter reserves the right to withdraw the prize and the prize will be forfeited. Upon prize forfeiture, no compensation will be given.
