Class of 2012: Diploma in Environmental Tourism Management Programme

On completion of her studies in the Diploma in Environmental Tourism programme, Rynn Daniela Adam joined Planet Borneo Tour and Services, Miri in September 2012 as a Sales and Reservations Officer.

In recognition of her commendable work performance, she was rewarded with opportunities for career advancement. In this respect, she was given the opportunity to be a Tour Guide, based in Mulu.

Looking back on her studies at i-CATS, Rynn commented that the Diploma in Environmental Tourism Management programme, with an impressive range of industry-relevant subjects such as Survival Skills and Communication, prepared her for the world of work; an all-important first step leading to a career in Tourism! She enjoys her profession as a Tour Guide and looks forward to setting up her own travel agency in future!

Her words of advice to her juniors at i-CATS: Believe in yourself and learn from your mistakes to become a better person!
