i-CATS – Kodorra Collaboration Paves The Way for the Offering of Short Courses in Online Entrepreneurship and Digital Technology

The recent signing of a Collaboration Agreement between the International College of Advanced Technology Sarawak (i-CATS) and Kodorra has paved the way for the offering of short courses in Online Entrepreneurship and Digital Technology at the i-CATS West Campus in Kuching.


In his opening remarks during the signing ceremony at the i-CATS West Campus at Jalan Stampin Timur in Kuching, i-CATS CEO Mr. Mohamad Isham bin Fauzi highlighted that the tie-up between both organizations was timely, taking into consideration the importance of Industry 4.0 and the Digital Economy. He also emphasized that the strategic collaboration with Kodorra, an online entrepreneurship and digital skills training provider, would facilitate the offering of a variety of short courses to students, the industry and the general public.


Mr. Mohamad Isham also took the opportunity to share on the many achievements of Kodorra’s Founder, Mr. Melvin Wong. An award-winning Sarawakian online entrepreneur with global business experience in 17 countries covering U.S.A., Europe, Asia and South America, Mr. Wong is currently a mentor at AngelHack U.S. and the South Bay Entrepreneurial Center in Los Angeles, U.S.A.


During the signing ceremony, Mr. Melvin Wong commented that the collaboration with i-CATS would enable both organizations to explore various opportunities, with the aim of advancing the noble cause of Human Capital Development. He also highlighted that as part of the initial phase of the collaboration, three courses would be offered, namely How to Start Your Online Business, How to Build Your Website in 8 Hours and How to build Your eCommerce Website in 8 Hours. These compelling workshops shall equip participants with the fundamental knowledge to begin their online businesses. More intermediate-level courses such as digital marketing, growth hacking, business plan writing and fund raising shall be offered in subsequent phases.
